So Iβm not sure if the AC was broken or off or if itβs just hot in here but the temperatures really made the seating area uncomfortable. Also the tables and chairs were kind of dirty and smelly. The drinks were also a bit underwhelming. It felt like it was all cream and sugar and not enough of the tea so that is my only main complaint there, but it was just a combination of all the above that makes me decrease the rating by a couple of points. Iβll try and visit again to see if it changes my opinion on the quality.

I placed my order at 2:01 and received it around 2:35, so I waited about 35 minutes for a drink. It seemed like only one staff member was working, handling both orders and making drinks, which caused a long delay. I would recommend having 2β3 people on shift during weekends, because the wait time is too long for simple orders.

Cute interior, but no music makes it a really awkward environment. Ordered thai tea & oolong with brown sugar boba, both of the drinks had undercooked boba in it. Had to keep spitting out rough bits. Liked the tea portion enough, but honestly really disappointed based on the other reviews. Was expecting more from this place, wonβt be returning.

I am a frequent buyer from this boba location for my whole clinic, and today I placed the order but when I showed up there was a sign that it was closed. I had placed this order at 3 pm and walked over during my break in the cold while pregnant. They only offered a refund and now I will no longer be returning here as they should have offered a lot more from a customer service standpoint due to the hassle they put me through.

Nice selection of teas and it's quiet enough and cozy. The music is not loud thank you. Nice staff or owner. The coconut banana smoothie w lychee jelly was good it was just not real fruit bc we didn't taste any coconut flakes or banana particles ... maybe they were all part of the powder. The brown sugar boba was good and sweet enough. My favorite was the mango smoothie and I added lychee jelly. It was very refreshing, sweet with bursting mango flavor, and the best part is you can customize whether you add cream or not and the jelly and boba etc. The atmosphere is very nice with lowfi type music and the decor is pleasant and cute. Gender neutral bathrooms and just big enough to fit a wheelchair. Love the neighborhood as it's in the heart of all the fun food and clothing places. Great place for a first date.

I visited Tao Tea while I was in Chicago and tried their brown sugar boba. It was good, but not greatβmainly because they donβt add tea to it. However, the ambience is beautiful, with some great spots for photos.

Love that it's not overwhelming, sweat. Has a great balance between the flavor and the toppings. The cute panda on the cup is an added plus. Also, I love the space! Would definitely come back to try the dragonfruit with coconut milk!

Everything was perfect, honestly. The service was speedy and friendly. The chairs are absolutely comfortable and the decor was so cute. The tea overall was very fresh and I had to buy 2 because it was just so damn good. In other tea shops, I disliked the amount of flavorants they use, but you don't have to worry about that here. It was incredibly flavorful and delicious, would come here again.
